The Derwent Estuary Program invites you to attend the Derwent Science and Management Symposium at the CSIRO Marine Laboratories in Hobart on 23 April 2015.
It will be a day of inspirational talks from local and interstate speakers. There will be updates on Derwent estuary related research and management from the past five years, case studies of estuary management in Australia and how artists and scientists are working together with fascinating results. Following the day time symposium there is an optional informal dinner and poster session next door at the Institute of Marine and Antarctic Studies. A chance to unwind, catch up with colleagues and check out the inspiring work students, community groups and researchers have done over a drink and delicious food provided by Taco Taco and Sweet Envy.
